Ripple Reads

A book club, but not the kind you’re probably picturing.

A little unexpected

This isn’t the version where people skim a few chapters, drink wine, and spend twenty minutes talking about the book before going completely off course.

Ripple Reads is for women who want to read something worth thinking about and then actually talk about it in a way that connects to real life. Work. Career. Relationships. Identity. The questions you keep circling but haven’t fully answered yet.

This tends to resonate most with women who are already asking bigger questions about their lives and what they want next.

Built for women who want more than surface level small talk.

How It Works

We keep the discussion guided enough to stay on track, but open enough for real conversation.

You do not need to finish the whole book.
You do not need to show up with notes.
You do not need to have some brilliant take ready to go.

You can come even if you haven’t read it, and you’ll still get something out of the conversation.

What Makes Us Different

We’re not getting together to “discuss literature.”

We’re using the book as a way into the conversations we’re already wanting to have.

The ones about work that no longer fits quite right. The decisions you’ve been sitting with. The part of your life that feels good on paper but not fully right in your body. The version of success you’re not sure you believe in anymore.

That’s usually where the conversation gets REAL interesting.

Current Book

We’re excited to kick off our next Ripple Reads book: Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans!

This book takes a fresh, practical approach to building a meaningful and joyful life using design thinking principles. Whether you're considering a career pivot or simply wanting to reflect more intentionally on where you're headed, it offers tools and ideas we can all apply in our own ways.

Things You Might Be Wondering

  • No. Really. Come even if you’ve only read part of it or haven’t started yet. You’ll still get something out of the conversation.

  • Ripple Reads meets quarterly around one book. We’ll share the schedule and details once you join in.

  • Yes. Ripple Reads is its own thing. You do not need to come to the monthly gatherings to be part of it.

  • Honestly, same. That’s probably why Ripple Reads exists.

  • You’ll be in good company. This is not a loud, fight-for-airtime kind of room. You do not need to be “on” to belong here.

  • Not at all. You’re welcome to listen, reflect, and join in however feels natural. No pressure to perform.
